Assessment methods

The Hygiene and Health Education module is part of the integrated Prevention Science course.

The final grade is the weighted average (with respect to the credits in each module) of the partial grades assigned in the individual disciplines of the course.

The criteria for assessing the Hygiene and Health Education examination will be:

- clarity in the presentation of the contents;
- ability to link the main issues;
- critical analysis of the repercussions of the topics studied within health and social care services and for the training of the physiotherapist profession.

The oral exam aims to verify the achievement of the following learning outcomes:

- know the health problems and prevention needs of the population;

- know the epidemiology and prevention of healthcare-acquired infections.

The final vote will be expressed in thirtieths (30/30).

Grades will be assigned according to the following criteria:

Knowledge of a very limited number of topics; analytical ability that emerges only with the help of the teacher; exposition of concepts and language acceptable as a whole → 18-19;

Knowledge of a limited number of topics; ability to analyse independently only on purely executive issues; exposition and language generally correct → 20-24;

Knowledge of a large number of topics, but with some inaccuracies; ability to analyze and link independently. Exposure of concepts in the right succession and with appropriate language → 25-29;

Full preparation, consolidated and without inaccuracies on the topics covered in the course. Ability to promptly frame the topic. Ability to analyze and connect independently different topics. Concepts in the right succession and full command of the specific language with some original elaboration by the student → 30-30L.

To support the exam registration is required through Bulletin Board (Almaesami), in compliance with mandatory deadlines. Those who failed to register for technical issues by the due date, shall communicate promptly (and in any case before the formal closure of the registration lists) the problem to the academic office. The teacher's right to admit or not the student to the examination.
