Learning outcomes

At the end of the module, the student possesses knowledge, to the extent of their competence, related to the field of forensic medicine. Specific areas of expertise within the field include social medicine, criminology, forensic psychopathology, forensic toxicology, professional ethics, medical ethics, and clinical bioethics.

  • The exercise of healthcare profession and the code of ethics
  • Offenses against life and personal safety - The causal relationship
  • Offenses against personal freedom
  • Legal obligations of healthcare professionals
  • Criminal and civil liability in the exercise of the profession
  • Consent, refusal, and waiver of treatment. Shared care planning
  • Voluntary termination of pregnancy
  • Thanatology and forensic pathology

Questionnaire with multiple options (8 questions; 15 minutes total time) or oral exam.
