Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student will be able to recognize the main malocclusions and to have general knowledge on techniques and both removable and fixed orthodontic appliances. The student also knows the problems associated with oral hygiene during orthodontic treatment and the main hygiene techniques in these anatomical features. It 's also able to motivate the patient to oral hygiene, to teach the proper techniques and suggest adequate eating habits.

The final assessment consists of an oral examination aimed at evaluating the achievement of the competencies outlined in the course learning objectives.
