Learning outcomes
At the end of the internship the student has profitably attended the periodontology service and therefore possesses a preparation that allows him to recognize, deal with and resolve simple periodontal cases also in relation to implantology.
Course contents
The course aims to develop the student's manual skills applied to the field of periodontology.
The highly practical path on simulators will focus on fine movements both with ordinary vision and with magnifying systems.
Teaching methods
Practical lessons on clinical simulations.
Anatomical simulators will be used in dedicated operating units. For such occasions, the course will also provide the necessary clinical instruments.
Assessment methods
In addition to attendance, the degree of participation in scheduled operations will be assessed.
A final practical exam is also planned, shared among all teachers holding internships.
