Students must be able to critically examine the content and theoretical models of general psychology acquired in the first cycle degree. In addition, students must develop the ability to connect the various disciplines of the integrated course "Methodological Bases for Health Education and Promotion" with the goal of promoting health in the general population and health personnel.
Course contents
(i) Frontal lectures (20 hours, 2 cfu)
Psychological well-being and quality of work life; Conceptual framework for the psychological analysis of work; Demands and resources; Costs and revenues associated with the work activity; The practice of caring.
(ii) Online teching (10 hours, 1 cfu).
Active learning techniques such as co-working among students and development of soft skills (teamwork, communication ...). Through an organized activity in small groups, through the creation of virtual rooms on the Teams platform, students will be invited to collaborate on the drafting of a research protocol on the content of frontal teaching.

Frontal Lecture and team work.
Assessment methods
Assessment methods for the course consist of:
- a written exam consisting of three open-ended questions pertaining to the main course content (each answer will be assigned a score between 0 and 10 points). The assessment of the open-ended questions will take into account content knowledge, pertinence of language and the ability to make connections between different parts of the course.The use of supporting materials such as textbooks, notes, computer aids is not allowed during the test. The written exam will last 60 minutes.
- As an outcome of the innovative teaching activity, we ask you to write a critical review of the textbook [book title] that you have used during the semester. The goal of this activity is to stimulate in-depth reflection on how the book's content connects with the topics covered in lectures and how you can apply it to your professional experience in the healthcare field.
Regarding the evaluation of the Integrated Course (I.C.) "Methodological Basis for Health Education and Promotion":
1) the evaluation of the I.C. corresponds to the weighted average of the evaluations obtained in the single tests of the I.C.;
2) the positive evaluation of individual IC tests is kept valid for the period of three sessions;
3) as for the IC verbalization, it is necessary to register on Almaesami platform; attendance is not required.
