Course contents

The workshop aims at analyzing, adopting a proper seminar working method, the neoliberal phenomenon and government practices of subjectivity in the light of the most recent transformations of capitalism. This issue will be treated according to a transdisciplinary perspective and framed starting from complementary operations and assemblages of exercise of power. Especially, the most recent debates concerning the notions of "domination", "control", "government", "sovereignty" will be deepened in the light of the increasingly pressing crisis of the neoliberal system. The meetings will therefore attempt to question and test the theoretical significance of these concepts and investigate the emerging phenomena connected to legal, economic, and social changes. With particular reference to the transformations that affect the sphere of welfare, social reproduction and public policies.
