Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student knows the scientific basis of the science of nutrition and is capable to balance a diet prepared for healthy people or sportsmen, as regards macronutrients intake. It is also able to attribute an overall environmental impact to single diets, knows the main food production chains, and evaluate the environmental footprint and sustainability of diets in a correct and modern way. At the end of the course, the student is able to take part in research projects relating to nutrition or to work in food companies, in catering facilities or within industries of the agro-food sector.
