Learning outcomes

The student will learn basic computer skills, with the ability to apply them to data processing and presentation.

Course contents

Internet, WWW and their services.
Text processing.
Speadsheets.
Web page creation.

Readings/Bibliography

No textbook is needed, since all the material is available on-line. However, the complete course material is published also as:

Teaching methods

Course with some in-presence traditional lectures, integrated with a distance learning course and tutor assistance (blended e-learning). The course is available through the e-learning service of UniBo: virtuale.unibo.it

Assessment methods

Multiple choice on-line test in the lab room. The questions are similar to the ones presented in the training sections of the online platform. No book or note is allowed during the test. Number of questions: 30; time allowed: 25 mins; to pass at least 16 correct anwers are needed.
