Learning outcomes

The main goal of this course is to introduce the student to basic theories of social psychology and to relate knowledge of theory as well as current and past research in social psychology to situations in everyday life such as interpersonal and group relations.

Social cognition

Attitude and behavior change

Aggression

Prosocial behavior

Social influence

Group performance and leadership

Prejudice and intergroup relations
