Course contents
Formation
objectives:this teaching intends to provide the students with the
methodological and content bases in the complex field of the
environmental management,and to contribute to the formation of new
professional profiles,suited to satisfy the modern needs.
--The inter-and multidisciplinarity of this teaching. Analyses and
evaluations for the most effective,efficient and economic choices
in the management of the factor resources-environment.
--Causes of emissions and environmental unbalances : the
constraints consequent to the laws of thermodynamics in the
utilisation of energy and material resources. Similarities and
differences between natural systems (bio-geo-chemical cycles) and
economic systems (productive cycles).
--The relationships between technologies/productive activities and
resources-environment : an indepth and critical analysis of the
effects,before and after the changes started in the '80s.
--The concepts of effectiveness,efficiency and productivity in the
utilisation of natural resources,and the way of their
measurement.
--Criteria and methods to analyse and assess the environmental
impacts,in the various forms.
--How to build up a check-list and a matrix of the relation
causes-effects.
--Approaches and strategies in the environmental policies.
Structure of an environmental policy.
--The determinants of their technical and economic success:
endogenous and exogenous factors.
-- Principles to integrate the environmental policies in the
corporate strategy. Hyerarchy of objectives.
--Environmental policies and competitivity.The factor
resources-environment as innovative opportunity.
--Types of competitive advantage.
