Learning outcomes
The course aims to give to students a general vision of medieval
historiographical production (V-XIV centuries), regarding the
historical facts interpretation, the textual typologies, and the
relationships between power and ideology.
Course contents
The basic part of the course will be focused on the medieval historical practice, on the textual typologies and on the religious and ideological patterns of the medieval historical production.
Special part of the course will be focused on the historians of carolingian period.

The final exam will be an oral one, with questions aimed
