Learning outcomes
the purpose of the courses is to promote knowledge about differents methods for the psychological interventions with elderly populations, family carers and profesional caregivers. The course will enable students to assess, and to develop psychological interventions with elderly. During sessions, different model of interventions shall be presented based upon evidence based practice litterature . Within this frame, particular attention shall be pointed upon the interventions planning with focus on the devloment and the ongoing assessment of interventions outcomes in order to take into account not only effectiveness but also efficacy of interventions.

Clinical psychology and dementia: interventions for family carers
and professional caregivers
Clinical Psychology and dementia: interventions related to
environment
Elderly psychopathology: depression, anxiety, psychosis,
bereavment. asssessment and interventions
End of life issues: supportive care and palliative care

Assessment methods
the learning assessment shall be carried out using written test both with open questions and quiz questions and examples of clinical situations
the aim of the assessment is to accertain the knowledge of the students toward the matter developped during the courses and ability to focus upon assessment procedures
as assessment criteria the following shall be used:
- the capacity organize the response.
- the ability to develop a synthetical and clear exposition.
- the ability to plan an intervention protocol in relation to a clinical case.
