Course contents
The course is subdivided into two parts. The first introductory
part will focus on the definition and history of the
anthropological studies. We will take into account the
transformation of concepts such as culture and ethnicity together
with the main theoretical and methodological problems faced by the
discipline. The second part aims at introducung various fields of
anthropological application such as migration, aid and development,
the different approaches to multiculturalism and the multiple
relations between the local and the global.
