. He is co-founder of the Italian Society for Applied Anthropology (SIAA) and co-editor of the journal Antropologia Pubblica
and the series "migrazioni" edited by CISU. He is also directing the Anthropological section of the series "Interculture" edited by Junior. Since 2014 he belongs to the teaching board of the doctoral programme in Cultural and Social Anthropology at the University of Milan "Bicocca". He undertook filedwork in Senegal Italy and, in a minor extent, Cambodia. His research interests include West African transnational migration, co-development, citizenship, mobility, diversity, migration policies, Italian multiculturalism and racism. He belongs to numerous scientific and editorial boards.
