Harmony, syntax, form in tje music of Gabriel Fauré

he aim of the corse is to acquire a correct view of the syntactical and formal schemes of the tunal tradition and to apply these notons to a quite problematical repertory such as the chamber msuic composed by Fauré

Assessment methods

(1)    Written analysis (then discussed) of the syntactical, harmonic, formal articulation of a late XIX century (or of the first XX century decades)  tonal piece assied the same day of the exam (2 h.).

(2)    Discussion o the above mentioned musicological literature.

A CD player with earphines will be necessitated  by the student
