Learning outcomes


Course contents

This course concentrates on the use of the language in acutual communicative situations.  By the end of the course, the students will learn two of the three Japanese writing systems (hiragana and katakana) and some characters of the third (kanji).  The students will also learn the basics of Japanese grammar and be able to conduct basic conversations, read and write simple Japanese texts.

  • The copies of the introduction and the first two lessons of the textbooks are available in potineria (Via Oberdan).  Look for the folder Lingua Giapponese
  • In the second or third week of October, a representative of Italia Shobo, Japanese bookstore in Firenze, will come to the SSLMIT to sell textbooks directly to the students.  The schedule of the sales will be announced during the lectures.
