Learning outcomes
Synthesis, structure, reactivity, bonds in the most important classes of organometallic compounds of the transition metals. Applications in industrial catalytic processes.
Course contents
Transition metals organometallic compounds: alkyls and aryls, carbenes and carbynes, carbonyls, olefin and alkyne complexes, allyl and enyl complexes, complexes of the cyclic CnHn ligands, metal-metal bonds and cluster compounds. Organometallic catalysis.
