Learning outcomes

At the end of the laboratory activities, closely connected with the excavation activities; the student knows the characteristics of the classification and drawing of materials, learns the tools for archaeological data archiving and computer management, also taken from ancient archives, and for the analysis and classification of palaeobotanical and palaeoarchaeological finds. They are able to deal with the cataloguing of archaeological material with methodological rigour and using the most up-to-date methods of systematisation and to update their skills by reading the critical literature.
