Learning outcomes


At the end of the course the student is able to acquire theoretical knowledge on topics related to the issues of the environment, prevention, legislation and safety of current interest for his profession in preparation for the integrated courses of the following years.


Course contents

The topics will be covered according to the following schedule


1) Presentation of the seminar "Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems" and definition of the role of the Prevention Technician in the environment and in the workplace in the company context.
2) Prevention actors in the business context and Identification of roles and functions.
3)  The Consolidated Law on Health and Safety at Work Legislative Decree no. 81 of 9 April 2008 as a tool for the management of company safety.
4) Legislative Decree 81/08, art. 30 and corporate social responsibility. D.LGs 81/08; the articles of management.
5) Legislative Decree 231/2001 guarantees and integration of management systems.
6) Company policies, concept of quality, safety and health and its evolution; the Deming cycle.
7) Analysis and assessment of risks to corporate health and safety; Think by priorities and processes.
8) Identification of processes within a typical work activity.
9) Classification of the identified processes and definition of strategic safety and health objectives.
10) Identification of process criticalities and examples of simplified Organization and Management Models.
11) The need to standardize: assessments related to health and safety in work activities.
12) UNI INAIL guidelines for a health and safety management system for work activities.
13) Guidelines for the implementation of the OHSAS 18001 standard – Process control and audit methods UNI EN ISO 19011: 2012. ISO 45001; "Education to the Sustainable Development Goals"
