Learning outcomes

The course of Public Law of the Economy is aimed at analyzing the essential contents of the national economic constitution and the fundamental choices that characterize it in its historical evolutionary path, also with reference to the discipline of public finance and budgetary policies. It further aims at examining and giving a systematical structure, from a European and supranational point of view, to the most important phenomena of regulation and control of the economy (the role of independent administrative authorities, the Bank of Italy, market regulators financial and liberalized markets, competition and market authority, copyright holders of constitutional rights); role of regulation and supervision of financial market operators; privatizations; the role of the state in the strategic sectors of the economy; the European Economic Constitution

Course contents

The course aims to analyze and deepen the most significant aspects of the evolution of public intervention in the economy and the current structure of relations between public institutions and the economic system, with constant reference to the role of the European Union.

Teaching methods

The teaching will be articulated in frontal lessons and in other activities directed to spur the involvement of the students. In the lectures will be conducted the systematic dissertation of the topics covered by the course, according to the program above.

Assessment methods

The final exam will be oral.

The oral test will focus on the issues relevant to those indicated in the "Course contents" section.

The evaluation of the test will be carried out taking into consideration:
- knowledge of institutional profiles;
- the ability to analyze the jurisprudential and doctrinal learnings;
- the ability to make connections between the different parts of the program;
- the ability to develop critical arguments;
- the articulation of the exhibition;
- the accuracy of the exposure.

 

Teaching tools

Students who, due to disability-related reasons or specific learning disabilities (DSA) need compensatory tools, will be able to inform the teacher of their needs, so as to be directed to the contacts and agree on the adoption of the most appropriate measures
