Learning outcomes

Knowledge and skills to achieve

The course aims to analyze institutions, disciplines and functional procedures at national and European level to protect the economy; the content of the principle of protection of savings at the constitutional level; the most relevant constitutional case law; European institutions and disciplines and ways of impact on domestic law; a review of the institutions and disciplines for the protection of savings at European level; consideration of the most relevant case law of the EU Court of Justice; the function of alternative dispute resolution instruments; the role of the Financial Settlement Banker in banking, financial and corporate disputes.

Course contents

Program / Content

The course intends to analyze the constitutional discipline of saving, with particular reference to the case law of the Constitutional Court.

The European Union's impact on Italian law, with particular attention to the subject of EU monetary policy, will be analyzed.

Finally, the c.d. "European Banking Union", observed from a constitutional point of view, will be also analyzed.

Teaching methods

Lessons will be conducted with the traditional method of the frontal lesson.

Assessment methods

The final exam of the course consists of an oral exam where the student must demonstrate knowledge of the main important parts of the program.
