Course contents
The workshop aims to provide the tools to design political and social research. Building on the knowledge and methodological skills already accumulated by students, the objective of the workshop is to develop, through exercise, the ability to design, "produce" and present research and analyses. To this end, the workshop focuses on the empirical analysis of the insurgency and criminality (with particular reference to organized crime), whose peculiarities related to methodological and epistemological problems will be addressed in the lessons. The first part of the course will be based on lectures (with reference to the texts mentioned in the bibliography section) and oral presentations by students that summarize the highlights of existing research conducted on the abovementioned phenomena. In the second part of the course, exercises will be held to design and produce a presentation with computer support or a presentation in the form of "poster". The seminars and exercises will be conducted individually and / or small groups.
