Learning outcomes
This course examines the research methods relative to the study of the behavior and communication processes.
Course contents
1. Neurophysiological, cognitive, affective and interpersonal factors related to the PLACEBO and NOCEBO effects; 2. Psychological and communication processes involved in doctor-patient relationship and in patient's compliance to treatment.

Lectures. Classical
experiments in psychology will be simulated. Experimental and
clinical research outputs will be presented and
discussed.
Assessment methods
The final assessment (that will help to define the overall evaluation of Psicologia generale e Antropologia Medica Integrated Course) will be based on a written exam ( open questions and multiple choice)
