Learning outcomes

The student will acquire knowledge about cognitive processes (attention, memory, learning, reasoning and problem solving) relevant in decision making, in risk perception of in the executive activities of complex ergonomic performances. He also learn about the processes of activation and control of the emotional and motivational components of behavior, psychological and physiological reactions to stress and stress management through coping strategies. The student knows the functions and interdependence of verbal and non-verbal communication, the salient features of effective communication and persuasive communication. The student understands the cognitive, emotional and behavioral components of attitudes. The student understands group dynamics: communication networks, leadership styles, group norms, conformism; the formation of the group "mentality".
