Salary

Specialisation Schools

Specialist medical students receive an all-inclusive annual salary (comprising a fixed part and a variable part). The salary is paid by the University in 12 deferred monthly instalments and includes all national insurance contributions, and therefore both the two thirds part due by the University and the one third part due by the specialist medical student.

For the purposes of national insurance, specialist medical students are registered in the separate management section laid down in art. 2, paragraph 26, of Italian Law no. 335 of 8 August 1995.

The specialist medical student salary is exempted from income tax on physical persons.
