International Students: how to prepare for enrolment

Are you an international student? Choose a First or Second cycle degree programme, find out the steps you need to take in order to enrol and the financial aid opportunities offered by the University of Bologna.

Check the list of Degree Programmes to find out which is the right programme for you and check the admission methods in the programme website. Rules and deadlines may vary for each programme. The calls for applications are published from February 2019 till July 2019. Classes start in September/October 2019. The course list for A.Y. 2019/20 will be published in February 2019 and the online search engine will be updated in May 2019.
Pre-enrol if you are a Non-EU citizen
International students at Unibo
If you are a non-EU citizen living outside Italy, next to complying with the rules and deadlines established by the University of Bologna, you must pre-enrol at the Italian Embassy or Consulate in your country in April/May 2019.
Apply for financial aid
International student can benefit from study grants worth €11,000 gross and tuition fee waivers, assigned on the basis of the SAT and GRE tests. Further financial aid opportunities are also available.
