Learning outcomes
To acquire principle and methodologies to analyze, simulate and control flows in transport systems. In particular, interrupted and uninterrupted road facilities are considered, with special regard to traffic flow models and level of service estimation and optimization. Moreover, rail and air transport systems are examined, considering their fundamental principles and characteristics.
