Learning outcomes
Learning Outcomes: Al the end of the seminars the student is able to identify and evaluate the main topics of current research in the tourism field, and to deepen the analysis through brief essays.
Course contents
In the Academic Year 2017-18, seminars are organized in the first semester.
The seminar series is entitled "Topics and methods in contemporary tourism", and will be a mix of conferences and workshops, short courses on specific topics and presentations by tourism experts and professionals, including former TEaM students.

Assessment methods
Students should attend AT LEAST 15 hours out of the list of seminars offered in 2017-18. Attendance will be checked through identification and signature. To attain the 3 ECTS students should write a short essay, i.e. 4-5 pages, on one (or more) of the topics covered in the seminars. Evaluation, performed by the seminar coordinator, will be on a pass/fail basis.
