Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student: - knows the historical development of the Italian language and how the use dictionaries and reference grammars; - recognises the characteristics of the different varieties of the Italian language in use; - knows how to approach a text, oral or written, in a critical way, even from an interdisciplinary perspective; - is able to produce a wide range of oral and written texts; - knows how to develop basic skills in language acquisition and learning, in a multilingual context.
Course contents
The aim of the course is to approach the main themes and problems of Italian linguistics, taking into account the needs of future kindergarten and primary school teachers, as drawed in the National Guidelines (MIUR, 2012).
In particular, we will focus on the dimension of listening and speech, on the development of prerequisites for understanding text and narrative competence, and about spontaneous approach to reading and writing
