Interculturality at Kindergarten

Prologue

Doing intercultural education means to acknowledge the fundamental role of educational contexts that welcome infants and their families in favoring relationship, communication and construction of “areas of reciprocal understanding” .

Working with an intercultural approach in kindergarten requires to translate in practices and daily gestures the main purposes of interculturality: knowledge and valorization of the self and of the other, listening and communication, cooperation, reciprocity, conflict management.
