Learning outcomes

At the end of lessons students will be able to understand - both from the historical and cultural point of view - the relationship between arts and sociological research, with particular reference to the critical capacity on the existent order. In particular it will be paid attention on literature and, more in general, on the capacity of different forms of representation to perform social actions and to imagine alternative societies.

Assessment methods

Written and oral exam on institutional and monographic part. (Discussion of a brief essay).
