Learning outcomes

The course aims to provide students with a systematic and comprehensive vision of Sports Justice, through the analysis - in the context of an overall view of the issues of sports law - of the different and heterogeneous forms of disputes resolution within the sports legal system, national and international. In particular, will be analysed - with reference to the different types of sports disputes (technical, associative, economic and disciplinary) - the home justice systems of CONI, of the main national sports Federations and of the most important international sports organizations (CIO, UEFA, FIFA, UCI, WADA), the relative regulations, as well as the type and functioning of the respective sports Justice Bodies. Particular attention will then be given to the relationship between the State Jurisdiction and Sports Justice, through the study of the main instruments of subjection of the cardholders to the effectiveness of the decisions of the sports Justice Bodies and the analysis of their relevance and effectiveness for the State order.

The final exam will be held in oral form and the evaluation will be expressed out in thirtieths.

The exam will focus on the entire program of the Course as indicated in the "Program and contents" section and will aim to verify the students' learning of the fundamental concepts covered by the course.

A minimum of two or three questions will be addressed to the examiner, initially of a more general nature, with any subsequent requests for clarification and in-depth analysis of more specific topics that emerged during the course of the exhibition.

The vote will be parameterized as follows:

18-20: sufficient knowledge of the institutes, only partially appropriate technical terminology, modest ability to connect between the institutes;

21-24, good knowledge of the institutes, mastery of terminology and technical language, ability to connect between the institutes;

25-29, good knowledge of institutes, relevant mastery of technical terminology, accentuated ability to connect between institutes;

30-30L excellent knowledge of institutes, mastery of a constant and appropriate technical language, excellent ability to connect between institutes.

Attending students (with verified attendance for at least 80% of the lessons) will be able to replace, in whole or in part, the oral exam, by agreement with the teacher, with the preparation and discussion of a written in-depth essay on one of the topics covered in class, which will be agreed with the teacher.

The criteria for evaluating and setting the grade for the thesis are the same as those indicated for the oral exam.
