Learning outcomes
The student should have a good basic knowledge of Chinese language and culture and be able to understand, analyze and produce a wide range of written and oral texts.
Course contents
This course aims at deepen the grammatical topics of Chinese basic grammar and the knowledge of Chinese culture. Specifically, the course will focus on the following grammatical topics:
- The Verbal aspect: aspectual particles le, guo and zhe
- Localizers
- Pivotal sentences (verbs qing, rang and jiao)
- Constructions yinwei...suoyi and suiran...danshi
- The degree complement
- The modal particle le
- The adverbs you and zai
- The adverbs jiu and cai
- The structure shi...de
- The existencial sentence
- The resultative complement

Written test (grammatical exercises, and translation of short sentences from Chinese into Italian and viceversa).
Oral exam (questions about the grammatical and cultural topics studied for the course).
