Learning outcomes

The student is able to elaborate critical and systemic reflections on educational strategies, as well as to plan, manage and evaluate projects characterized by "good educational practices" for inclusion in different contexts. In addition, the student learns the epistemological foundations of Motor Praxeology, a branch of the human motor sciences, particularly the basic concepts: Motor Conduct, Universals of games, Internal Logic and External Logic of play and games, Motor Interaction and Communication, Sociomotricity, Semiomotricity.

Finally, the student knows the Outdoor Education main models, and is able to adapt them to the field of Physical Education. In particular, the student is able to: know the motivations that lead to adopt Outdoor Education as an educational approach; use some typical Outdoor Education technical tool, such as outdoor trips and games; to promote and implement motor outdoor activities in different educational contexts.

Course contents

Into the Motor Praxeology Module, motor activity is analyzed using the following dimensions:

- Universal of games: Space, Time, Objects, Scores, Roles, Relationships

- Motor communication: Ludemas (Gestemas and Praxemas)

- Classification of motor activities.

- History of this educational approach

- Main programs specific characteristics

- Active lifestyles and inclusion promotion
