Learning outcomes

At the end of the course, the student: a) knows and uses the constructions of pedagogical education; b) knows the methods of educational intervention; c) knows the epistemology and conceptual framework of educational work with disabilities; d) can distinguish between different types of disability; e) knows models of treatment and intervention.

Course contents

Course contents are the same for attending and non-attending students.

The course aims to guide the student in understanding the elements of complexity in the educational experience, in order to identify crucial points and overtaking directions.

Particular attention will be given to the analysis of contexts, educational times, educational styles and care in family, school and social health services. It will be shown how their evolutionary trends and implications arise from the perspective of “existential planning” and life-long Learning.

 

The contents of Pedagogy II module concern:

- Educational and pedagogical principle

- Formal ad informal education

- Educability and "times of education" (prenatal education; neonatal educational;life long learning)

- Pedagogy and neuroscience

- "Forms of education": affective education, cognitive education, social ethics education, aesthetic education, physical and body education

-  The educational relationship and Poisonous pedagogy

- Forms of alliances and not alliances in educational contexts (school, family, media)

- The pedagogical problematicism

Teaching methods

The course includes frontal teaching sessions in which the participation of students and the debate on topics are encouraged. These sessions will be alternated with seminar-laboratory meetings in which films, stories and analysis of educational experiences will be presented in order to promote experience-based learning.

Assessment methods

The final exam will be in written form and it will be divided into two parts: one for M_PED/01 module and one for the M-PED/03 module.

The aim of the exam is to asses the understanding and critical processing of the main concepts introduced during lectures and discussed in the readings, together with an evaluation of the logical consequentiality with which they are treated.

The test will take about two hours. The final grade will be in thirtieths.

The exam will be written and divided into two parts: one for the  module 1 and one for the module 2.

There aren't intermediate exam.

The assestment for module 2  will contain ten multiple choice questions and three open-ended questions.  

3 open questions: each correct question allows you to get 4 or 9 points for a total of 22 points.

8 multiple-choice: each correct question allows you to get 1 points for a total of 8 points

The test is passed if the score obtained is at least 18 points. To assign the mark whose maximum is 30 with honors, cun laude, the completeness of the answers, reasoning skills on learned contents and the clarity of the presentation will be evaluated. 

the vote will be moderated by vote on the assessment for module 1.

There will be no intermediate tests

During the test of this module, it will be not possible to consult the reference text, vocabulary or electronic device .

Students with disabilities and Erasmus students can contact the teacher to arrange forms of support to take the examination.

For DSA students, extra time or the use of specific supports will be guaranteed as indicated by the competent offices.

Enrollment in the tests will always take place through the Alma Esami application.

Teaching tools

The lessons will be carried out through the use of the main technological tools (power point, video ..) together with documents for analysis.
