Learning outcomes

At the end of the module, the student has knowledge, as far as he/she is responsible, concerning the methods of study and the techniques of intervention that, in the different operating models (individual, relational, family and group), characterize the applications Psychology clinics in different areas (people, groups, systems) for the solution of their problems.


Course contents

The course aims to provide the student with the fundamental knowledge related to:

-characterizing aspects of the main theoretical models, methodological approaches and clinical competences of the discipline;

- diagnosis in clinical psychology;

- psychodiagnostic evaluation tools and techniques;

- psychological development and normal and pathological personality organization;

- clinical interview in healthcare and management of relational dynamics;

- illness mental representations, psychological reactions and defence mechanisms;

- relevant psychological factors in therapeutic adherence;

- health promotion interventions and prevention of psychological distress in the health field.

Teaching methods

The teaching consists of 2 CFU of frontal lessons, corresponding to 24 hours.


Assessment methods

The learning test takes place through a final exam, which ascertains the acquisition of the expected knowledge and skills through the conduct of a written test lasting about 20 minutes. The written test consists of 16 questions of which 15 multiple choice (each answer correct allows to get 2 points) and 1 with dichotomic response (true-false; value 1 point) on the parts of the program that will be treated and indicated to students during the lessons.
