Learning outcomes

The goal of this course is to provide students with basic information technology notions, including: computer networks and the Internet, the use of a computer connected to the internet, spreadsheets, the Web and information systems. Considering both medical informatics and computerized tools for rehabilitation.


Course contents

Basic Notions on Operating systems and computer architectures.
Configuration and use  of a PC connected to the Internet.
Information systems, computer networks, Internet and Web infrastructure.
HTML and Web pages.
Spreadsheets and search engines.
Databases and SQL queries.
Medical informatics.
Computerized tools for rehabilitation.
