Learning outcomes

At the end of the course, the student wuold be able to undertsand the basic pathophysiology, symptoms and signs of the most common joint disorders

Course contents

- Anatomy, histology and physiology of the joint
- Sign and symptoms of inflammatory and non-inflammatory joint disorders
- Rheumatoid arthritis
- Spondiloarthritis
- Idiopatic juvenile arthritis
- Infectious arthritis
- Crystal deposition arthropaties (gout)
- Inflammatory miopathies
- Polymialgia rheumatica and introduction to vasculitides
