Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student will be able to: select and administer the most appropriate tests for evaluating different physical capacities based on each athlete’s characteristics, and use the obtained results to individualize training loads and assess the effectiveness of training programs; monitor, using various tools and technologies, both internal and external training loads, in real time and offline, in order to appropriately modulate training programs
Course contents
Introduction to sports evaluation and characteristics of tests; test administration and data analysis; evaluation of aerobic and anaerobic endurance; evaluation of strength, power and strength/power endurance; evaluation of speed, repeated-sprint ability and agility; evaluation of coorditionation; evaluation of mobility.
Basis and principles of sports training; internal and external load monitoring; analysis and use of data obtained from training monitoring; recovery monitoring and overtraining prevention.
