The curricular internship is a university training completion experience that allows students to acquire practical skills and the university educational credits (CFU) provided for in the curriculum of your degree program. It can be carried out at internal university facilities or at external entities, public or private, in Italy or abroad that have agreements with the University of Bologna.

The internship abroad can be undertaken by participating in the Erasmus+ Mobility for Internships call or by following the procedure indicated on the degree course website under Study/Internships via SOL-Tirocini.

The procedure for activating an internship (in Italy or abroad) and the method for consulting the database are described in detail on the Philosophy degree program page and is carried out via SOL-Internships.

Teaching methods

The verification of learning and the threshold for passing are established individually in the internship program. The hosting organization will certify the activities carried out on the student's diary booklet and will complete an online feedback questionnaire. Students are also required to complete a final questionnaire. The regular completion of the internship booklet and the approval of the final internship report by the reference professor attest to the verification of the acquired skills.

You must complete the attendance log, which should fall within the authorized period of execution. In case of any changes (e.g., suspension, cancellation) to the agreed program, you must communicate them via email to the internship office and copy the academic tutor and company representative.

In case of business trips, these must be communicated in advance by the tutor of the hosting organization to the internship office and the academic tutor, who must authorize them.

Throughout the entire internship, you will be covered by insurance against workplace accidents and for civil liability. For more information on the guaranteed coverage, consult the dedicated page.
