Learning outcomes
The course aims to introduce students to the main clinical-pathological entities related to benign and precancerous tumors.
Course contents
The main objective of the course relies on the introduction to the main and most common skin tumors
1) Introduction to common skin tumors
2) Epidemiologic factors
3) Phisiopathology of skin cancer
4) Diagnosis and treatment when needed
The knowledge that will be acquired may permit the comprehension of molecular mechanisms that play a role in the onset of skin tumors and related risk factors
The clinic evaluation of the skin using the most recent technologic innovations will be presented as well as novel treatment that have been introduced.

Theoretical lessons will be conducted in a classroom equipped with multimedia equipment, with the main use of slides in PowerPoint format. Students will be provided with an electronic version of the slides presented during the lessons.
