Learning outcomes
Specification of the COMPETENCES/PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFESSIONAL ABILITIES that the trainee should have acquired at the end of the internship
- understanding the association between theory and working activity in clinical psychology;
- operational understanding of the ethical principles of the profession of psychology;
- ability to work in team;
- actigraphic assessment of the activity-rest cycle;
- planning and implementation of educational interventions on sleep hygiene addressed to operators in the social-health or educational sector;
- planning and implementation of studies in studies in the psychological filed, with reference to the development, adaptation, and validation of psychodiagnostics and assessment tools.
Course contents
The following issues may be addressed during the internship period.
- in presence of the tutor: preparation of the patient record, psychological demand analysis, scoring of the diagnostic tests, participation in the discussion of cases in charge to the Service; participation in the planning and implementation of training courses addressed to operators in the social-health sector or shift workers; planning and implementation of studies within the psychological field: preparation of a research project, request to the ethics committee, construction of a measuring instrument, advanced statistical analyses, discussion of the results, writing a scientific paper.
- in progressive autonomy with the supervision of the tutor: scoring of the diagnostic tests, writing the psychological report; planning training courses addressed to operators in the social-health sector; planning and implementation of studies within the psychological field: analysis of the literature.

Teaching methods
Initial coaching with the tutor; gradual achievement of autonomy, with the supervision of the tutor, in carrying out the activities indicated above, maintaining constant comparison and discussion, both individually and in groups, with the tutor and with the other members of the team.
Assessment methods
To obtain the eligibility necessary for access to the Practical Evaluation Test, the tutor will evaluate the skills acquired and the work carried out by the intern during the course and at the end of the internship.
Teaching tools
Testing: MSQ, PSQI, Sleep Diary, Zung, STAI, SPAQ, MEQ. PRISMA criteria for the selection of articles from databases for the purposes of systematic literature reviews.
Actigraph and dedicated software for record score.
