Learning outcomes
At the end of the workshop, the student: - will be able to apply what is addressed in the integrated course within a simulated learning environment; - will be able to reflect critically in groups on the themes proposed.
Course contents
The workshop is focused on the interweaving between "school" and "gender issues", in an intersectional perspective (attentive to the multiple asymmetries/discriminations: interaction between gender and ethnic dimensions, and more).
The workshop aims to explore (with group work, guided discussions) some gender stereotypes in kindergarden and primary school. The topics covered are:
Gender and textbooks.
Gender and picture books.
Gender and toys.
Gender and cartoons.
Gender and educational relationship.
gender and equal opportunities at school.
Readings/Bibliography
The in-depth texts will be indicated during the workshop.
