Learning outcomes

At the end of the workshop the student:

  • is autonomous in applying the specific techniques which are learned independently or within Institutions’ planning;
  • knows how to share opinions with others on the techniques’ conditions of use and documentation;
  • knows how to use what learned in different types of service;
  • knows how to evaluate the techniques’ weaknesses and strengths;
  • knows how to use the technologies in different contexts making necessary changes and personal integrations.

Course contents

At the end of the workshop the student:

  • knows the methodological preconditions to implement the inclusive perspective and/or the integration of people with disability and/or of marginalised and deviant people;
  • knows the difference between deficit and handicap;
  • knows good practices, participatory planning and methodological guideline to design a Life Project from an inclusive perspective;
  • knows educational methodologies and tools to hinder situation of marginalisation and deviance;
  • knows how to use operational tools and to research materials and documentations in order to raise awareness of the cultural context of belonging of disabled, marginalised/deviant people;
  • is capable of building a communicative relationship both with the single learner and the groups of learners;
  • has appropriate knowledge and competences to interact with difficult, disabled, marginalised/deviant people who show reflective and problematic behaviours;
  • is capable of achieving synergies among different educational bodies, local authorities and municipalities, and other local and regional institutions that operate in the context of life of the person he/she deals with – in order to build up an inter-institutional network of proximity.

The evaluation will take into consideration these aspects:

  • the understanding of the requests;
  • the written language’s accuracy and clarity;
  • the feasibility criteria of an educational intervention.
 

 

Teaching tools

This workshop’s methodology uses interactive teaching supported by presentation of cases and practical exercises.
