Learning outcomes

The lab aims to provide students with theoretical and practical tools for the use of social media in the institutional and corporate sphere. At the end of the course students are supposed to know: - how to develop a project idea; – the impact of social media on political communication and on corporate communication; - how to build an effective social media strategy

Course contents

The workshops will cover useful and practical topics, such as the impact and the strategies of social media management in politics, cultural institutions and business. The lab lessons will be divided in two parts. In the second one, professionals will take part in the workshop to share with students best practice and case studies.

For the academic year 2024/2025 the maximum number of students admitteted to the lab will be 55.

Students with SLD or temporary or permanent disabilities. It is suggested that they get in touch as soon as possible with the relevant University office (https://site.unibo.it/studenti-con-disabilita-e-dsa/en) and with the lecturer in order to seek together the most effective strategies for following the lessons and/or preparing for the examination.

Assessment methods

At the end of the Lab students must produce a social media strategy, in accordance with class contents.

It is necessary to contact the relevant University office (https://site.unibo.it/studenti-con-disabilita-e-dsa/en) with ample time in advance: the office will propose some adjustments, which must in any case be submitted 15 days in advance to the lecturer, who will assess the appropriateness of these in relation to the teaching objectives.
