Teaching methods
Lectures and class discussions. Lectures will be supported by the use of powerpoint presentations.
Given the extensive use of quantitative methods, a regular attendance to the lectures is recommended.
Assessment methods
Written Exam
During the course, the exam will be split in two modules. A first exam will be held at the end of the first module (Midterm Exam) and a second one at the end of the second module (Final Exam).
Afterwards, students will have to take the exam in a single session covering both modules at the same time (Total Exams).
Organisation of the Exam
Midterm and Final Exams: Answer two questions (out of two)- 1 hour time.
Total Exams: Answer two questions (out two) for each module of the course -2 hours time.
No oral exam is provided
GRADING
Grades are expressed on a 18-30 scale and graduated as follows:
<18 failed
18-23 sufficient
24-27 good
28-30 very good
30 L excellent
