Teaching methods

The course (1 CFU, corresponding to 8 hours of face-to-face teaching) is part of the Integrated Course "Maternal-Fetal Interactions in Pregnancy and Neonatal Development: Hormones, Stress, Sleep" (3CFU), taught in the fourth semester (second semester of the academic year). The examination program is covered in its entirety during the Course. The iconographic material shown in the lectures is mainly taken from texts to scientific articles suggested during the lectures, and will be available from time to time on virtual.

Assessment methods

The verification test of the course is conducted by means of a "true or false" quiz inherent to topics covered in class.This verification is integrated into an overall test that also includes the other two sections, by Prof. Barteotti and Prof. Pizza, which together with this one constitute the Integrated Course 'Maternal-Fetal Interactions in Pregnancy and Neonatal Development: hormones, stress, sleep.'A total of 18 questions will be administered, 6 for each of the 3 sections. Each correct answer is worth 1 point, each no answer is worth 0 points, and each incorrect answer is worth -0.3 points. Eligibility is achieved with a score greater than or equal to 8 points. The final evaluation (pass/fail) is overall for the entire Integrated Course.
