At the end of the module, the student will have the main knowledge of good practice in clinical-assistance and organizational processes. The student will know the methodology for finding evidence to apply in professional practice.

Evidence-based research methodology to be applied to nursing.

- Principles, methodology, advantages, and limitations of Evidence Based Nursing (EBN)

- Designs of research studies

- Formulation of meaningful research questions for nursing care

- Choice of knowledge sources (primary, secondary)

- Measures of association

- RCTs (randomized controlled trials)

- Systematic Reviews/Meta-analyses

- Guidelines

- Bibliographic databases and sources of guidelines of interest to nursing.
