Learning outcomes

After having attended the course students will have acquired a good knowledge of:

the main phases of the communicative-linguistic development; the theoretical-clinical definition of language delay; the observational tools of the communicative-linguistic development in the first three years of age; to construct educational programs aimed to promote child’s linguistic skills.

Teaching methods

During the workshop exercises will be carried out in the classroom through the presentation of videos and the analysis of questionnaires for the observation of language development.

Classroom exercises are particularly relevant for understanding the use of the presented observational tools, discussing the difficulties encountered, advantages and limitations.

Attendance is mandatory.

Assessment methods

The workshop will be evaluated: rejected (in this case the student must take part to a second workshop) or -1/0/+1 added or withdrawn from/to the score of the written test of exam.

Evaluation is based on diligence during the workshop activities and on an individual practice work linked to workshop contents.
