Learning outcomes

At the end of the module, the student is able to recognize hazards to caregivers and caregivers in different health care settings and applies knowledge to ensure safety.

Course contents

Art.37 of Legislative Decree 81/2008.
* Health care workplaces - specific features;
* Manual handling of loads and Patients;
* Physical hazards (noise, vibration, microclimate, etc.);
* Chemical risk (individual and collective protection);
* Medicinal gases in cylinders;
* Work-related stress, psychosocial distress, third-party violence and gender differences;
* Instructions for emergency management in the workplace of Ausl Romagna.
* Biohazard, health surveillance, Vaccinations, maternal workers, night work.
* Risks of Ionizing Radiation and Non-Ionizing Radiation.
